...On a first date I would like to meet for coffee with the opportunity to have a conversation someplace that would be convenient for both of us. On a second date I would be open to dinner, a movie, or concert.

...Past relationships have taught me that it is possible to love, lose that person and then move on in life. I was divorced for a long time and that taught me not to judge all men by the one who had greatly disappointed me because not all men are alike. In fact, I really believe that there are some good men that are looking for an honest, positive relationship.

...To me, being a Catholic means having a relationship with the Lord, it means being open to whatever plans He has for me, and to trust Him with all my heart since He knows what is best for me.

...In the next five years I would like to continue to maintain good health with exercise and eating well. I will continue my good relationship with my children and friends and would like to make new friends with whom I can share my faith.

My favorite Bible passage is the Good Shepherd because during a very dark time in my life I really felt He was present then taking care of me and my children as though we were His little sheep!

I am an independent lady and do not need anyone taking care of me financially. I am retired and love my free time to care for my grandchildren (occasionally), take classes, exercise and take long, leisurely walks with my new, precious pup.

I would like to meet a gentleman who knows how to treat a lady and who would like to be friends first and then let develop anything more that may occur!
