Introduction

Hi! Glad you stopped by. Even my male co-workers say I'm probably the nicest guy you'll ever meet. I'm easy-going, honest, and very romantic. I'm also a traditional, conservative Republican who is looking for the same. Shared core values make the best and strongest relationships. As such, I am not interested in liberals, non-conformists, moderates or middle-of-the-roaders. Empathy and compassion for others come naturally to me, and I think you'll be surprised at how "emotionally available" I am. I can express my thoughts and emotions fully and completely, and I'm an excellent listener. Still a believer in old-fashioned courtship and passionate romanticism, I'm the type who holds doors and chairs for ladies, sends flowers for no reason and telephones in the middle of the day, just to say "I love you." When I'm not thinking about romance, fitness and health are usually on my mind. Long distance running is my passion, and since 2003, I've completed marathons in Florida, California, Arizona, Hawaii, Ohio, Texas, Washington, Colorado, Louisiana and Georgia. 2012 took me to races in Scotland and Spain, and my 2013 calendar includes Norway and Portugal. Financially, I'm firmly grounded, kept comfortable and secure by a job with the federal government. I'm careful to live within my means and I carry no debt, other than my mortgage. Favorite activities include good music, baking and cooking, nature and the outdoors, antiques, history, convertibles, animals, zoos and museums, sports, travel, deep conversations and snuggling with that special someone. My entertainment preferences are very traditional: Vintage movies, classical music and oldies radio (i.e. Big Band, classic Jazz, 50s & 60s Rock). Contemporary culture doesn't interest me. So, I watch no television and rarely attend new movies. Because honesty and accuracy are important to me, I've posted only photos taken in 2012. I'm looking for a warm, caring woman, 45-55, non-smoking, fit and attractive(to me). She attends Mass weekly, has a strong belief in God, a conservative outlook on life and is honest and reliable. She resides in the continental United States or Canada only, is fluent in English and would, ultimately, consider relocating to Virginia. Her goal is the same as mine: A committed relationship, hopefully leading to marriage; no pen-pals or casual relationships. She has no children, parents, roommates or other dependents living at home, and she's posted at least one representative photo taken within the past two years; no photo, no response.
