Ode to You?

The person in which I seek is truthful, friendly, and filled with romance; Someone to have fun and hang out with, and even teaches me to dance. I want to meet a special someone who enjoys quiet nights home alone, a wild night in Madison's downtown or even a walk in the park enjoying an icecream cone. I want someone that will be an equal, a person I will adore... someone to be a friend-- who knows-- even a long term relationship or so much more, Someone that I can make laugh when she is feeling gloom, someone who will complete me, and where a life of happiness may bloom. A person who makes my heart skip and when she leaves, my yearnings grow, a person I'll desire dearly and will ''always have me at hello.'' I enjoy funny movies, State Street, and Badger sporting events. And while I' m sometimes goofy, I still have common sense. Well now, with questions answered, and my desires revealed, I notice I told you lots of things, while your life is largely concealed. I know you probably like the theatre, and a guy who is not too bland, I know you like romance, and a special person to hold your hand. Still more things about you I would like to hear. Tell me about your goals, family, desires and career. Tell me why you're single and describe the man of your dreams. Perhaps what I'm looking for is closer than it seems. I know I've gotten longwinded in this poem on what i seek, Yet for something to be special it must be unique. Roses are sometimes red, violets truly blue, but nothing would please me more, than hearing back from you.
