Introduction

I have been a widow for 5 years after a 39 year marriage. I feel it’s time for me to move on. I am very easy going, with a good sense of humor. I love to laugh. I am some what shy, but once you get to know me you find I am loyal and a true friend. My degree is in the Social Sciences with a concentration in History. I love the arts. I once taught Art History and Humanities at the college level. I enjoy visiting museums and historic places. I want to travel and have someone to travel with. I enjoy watching sporting events like baseball, football and ice hockey. I have two grown children, who each have two children. Therefore I’m the Grandmother of four that are the light of my life. I feel a lasting relationship is built a friendship, respect and trust. I like to sew and quilt. I am a retired teacher. I taught special education students with learning disabilities. It was a very fulfilling calling. I have just taken up golfing, which I enjoy very much. I workout in a gym 2 to 3 times a week. I am looking for someone to talk too and maybe go to dinner with. I would like to get to know someone from a different sphere. I enjoy talking to people and sharing ideas. My faith is very important to me. I would like to meet someone who is kind, caring, happy, respectful and honest.
