Introduction

I'm a revert, having returned to the Church in 2004 after a long time away. I'm very drawn to more traditional "styles", and I'm trying to teach myself how to sight-read Chant notation. I normally assist at Mass in the Extraordinary Form (aka Tridentine, TLM, etc.), but also occasionally sing with the choir at a different Ordinary Form parish. At present, I'm working on finally finishing my bachelor's degree with a major in physical anthropology. Yes, I'm in my thirties and I still like playing in the dirt. In my not-so-copious spare time, I enjoy photography, painting, drawing, golf - both traditional and disc - and exploring local history. I grew up mostly in Arizona, but lived in Germany from '84 to '87, and in the San Francisco Bay Area from '98 to '02, when I moved here. Sadly, I no longer speak German, and never got around to learning Spanish. My critters want to me include that I have 2 dogs and 3 cats. I could happily spend the day sitting on a riverbank watching the waters roll by.
