Proposed to me on a trip to Paris
We met on Catholic Mingle. It was my first foray into online dating, so I put very little information into my profile. No photo even! However, because Catholic Mingle does that great thing of emailing existing members about new members, I got a few smiles the next day - 5 to be exact! One of the men appealed to me, we emailed a few times, then we met for our first date on July 14, 2003. We were dating seriously by September, and we were in love by October! :) He proposed to me in October 2004 on a trip to Paris, and we're getting married July 23, 2005. We couldn't be more thrilled, and we couldn't be more grateful to Catholic Mingle!

Hi everyone,
I am so happy that now I can tell my success story to everyone. Almost 2 years ago I met my now fiance in this website, and it was love at first chat messenger!!! No, I am kidding, but really I am so thankful for the Catholic Mingle site because I found my other half here. I am so happy that I need to tell the story.
He is from Rhode Island and I am from Monterrey, Mexico. The distance didn't matter that much. We are lucky that I have my own business and I can travel to see him for a longer time. Also, he found an excellent long distance program to call Mexico, that we can talk every day as long as we need, for a decent $. This really proves that if you really want to find the right person you can find a good way to have a great relationship, it doesn't matter where are you from and/or what language you speak. We got enganged last April 4th. We are getting married next March 2006 in both countries. Because of the distance we are having two receptions...yyyeeeeessss!!!
So I recommend this site 100% with my friends. Now I have friends that are in a relationship or married to guys from Catholic Mingle. Three of my friends that started in this kind of site (we were the four cyber group, founders and co-founders, lol..), are already married. 1 Canadian, 1 American and 1 European. Two more are in a realtionship, 1 American and 1 Canadian. We all (my friends) are from Monterrey, Mexico, and more are coming in!!!
So you can see I am not the only one that has a success story!!! I invite you to get in and meet lots of friends and maybe there is your other half. So thanks again Catholic Mingle for this site that changed my life.

A match made in Heaven
Hey there,
This is soulseeker. I went to the Philippines to meet the woman I met on Mingle (rys1) Wow! We really hit it off and had a great time. We're a match made in Heaven. She's an absolute Angel from Heaven!
Well we had a great time planned, and left room for variations, which we used for talk time. We're good talkers, too...it was amazing. So we toured, we resorted, we ate and just had a great time.
It didn't take long to see she was exactly as she portrayed herself to be. We're absolutely in love. I proposed, she accepted and we'll marry as soon as the paper work goes through.
Mingle is truly a Godsend for us. Thanks so much!

I was married on December 31, 2004, after meeting my wife through your service. We began corresponding in February, 2002, and at the time we had both found your website very pleasant and easy to use. Thank you.

The beginning.
Last September (2004) I drove over 300 miles from Cleveland, Ohio, to a small town near Allentown, Pa. to attend a concert headlining my favorite singer, Chuck Negron, the former lead singer from Three Dog Night. The concert was postponed until the next day, a Sunday, due to the outdoor facility being damaged extensively by a bad storm on Friday night. Disappointed, I turned around and went home. I couldn't stay, due to job responsibilities.
On Sunday, I went to a festival about an hour outside of Cleveland, which I would not have been at, had this concert not have been canceled. At this festival, I ran into a friend who introduced me to his girlfriend (now his fiance) who he met on this website. He said I should give it a try. I never thought I would resort to meeting someone online.
About two weeks later I read a profile from someone who sounded interesting, and sent her a mingle mail. A few hours later, she responded, and I responded to her response. (her user name was "justdoit" for anyone who may remember her). A few days later, we exchanged phone numbers, and about a week later we met for the first time. Now, we are almost inseparable. It's so incredible to me that on a world-wide website I met someone so wonderful that only lives 15 minutes from me. I thought these kind of things only happened in fairy tales. In some ways, our time together is like a fairy tale, especially when we share our dreams of "happily ever after".
